Amazed

There have been MANY times during the journey I have been amazed. I've been amazed at my kids. They are over the moon about adding a little sister to this crazy bunch. The boys didn't blink when we suggested that they are going to once again have to share a room. Haylie has amazed us with her insight and confidence in the Lord providing for us through this process.
I've been amazed at my husband. He is always calm and collected. He showed nothing different through this decision to adopt. I, on the other hand, have had a couple of panic attacks.  He was there to calm me and talk me "off the ledge".  Always saying it will be ok! Love him!!!
I have been amazed by God, obviously. He has shown up SO many many times in the past 6 months-a year since we have started this process. He has answered questions, shown us His love, gave us assurance when we weren't sure.

Most recently I have been amazed by our friends and family. As you may know, we had a fundraising jewlery show last week.  Now, jewlery shows and home shows in general have not always been a great turnout for me. People always seem to be too busy, or aren't into whatever is being sold or just plain don't feel like it. Well that was NOT the case this time. I loved nothing more that seeing my home filled with people that love and support us. I was amazed at the people that showed up. It was a really fun night. We managed to have a great show. My cousin, Allison said that in her 8 years of selling Premier this was her BIGGEST show!!! GOD IS GOOD!!! You all amaze me!! THANK YOU!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! We are able to deposite a good amount into our adoption fund.

We are still in the process of our home study. We have a meeting with our caseworker on Monday night, which also happens to be our anniversary! We will have individual meetings with her. I guess to just make sure our stories match! ;)  We have to do a couple of training things and then one more meeting with her in October and our home study should be complete!! Then we apply to the USA to be able to adopt. Once we have approval from them we can send in our dossier to Africa!!

Prayer Request:
Patience for us
Gods provisions
Pray for our little girl.
Pray for her birth family and the decisions they have to make.
